The ACE Ski and Board Club was formed over 25 years ago as the
Digital Ski Club, formed by employees of Digital Equipment
Corporation. We have evolved over the years into a self-supporting,
standalone ski club.
The club’s membership has evolved over the years. We still have
many members who are or were affiliated with Digital, Compaq, HP,
Cabletron and Intel, but many new members are friends who just love
to ski and board and wanted to be members of our club. Our members
span all of New England, from Maine to Connecticut.
The Club is completely run by volunteers. We have no
paid staff. We have evolved from a company-based club to a nonprofit
corporation, recognized by both the state and the IRS.
